The Mount Cook from the Solidfloor Specials collection is a straight pattern oak floor, finished with a coloured oxidative oil and followed by a white-wash treatment. The floors from the Deep Brushed selection are recognizable through the deep brushing of the wood which makes the natural wood pattern especially prominent. This quality is presented beautifully in grazing light. Beyond the characteristic appearance of the Mount Cook the floor is also recognizable through its rich and versatile colour palette. This is a result of the floor being treated with a reactive stain which darkens the colour of the wood. In combination with the white wash, the dark colour of the stain also makes the natural wood pattern especially prominent. The floor has a total thickness of 15 mm including the high quality 4 mm oak top layer. As part of the Rustic+ wood selection, which permits more and larger knots than in the Rustic or Mill Run selection, this floor has a lively appearance. Periodical maintenance using the Solidfloor Natural Hardwax Oil will ensure that your floor will stay beautiful for longer, lasting for years.
