The Canterbury from the Solidfloor Specials collection is a straight pattern oak wood floor which has undergone extensive treatment to achieve its special look. The floor is for example, treated with a reactive stain, giving it a signature darkened and enriched colour. Because the floors are brushed the wood pattern is especially prominent within the floor. This is displayed beautifully in grazing light. The floor is also finished with a high solid (UV) oil. The floor has a total thickness of 14 mm including the high-quality 3 mm oak top layer. Because of this it is also possible to adjust the floor to be straight planks, or for the straight planks to be used as a border to place around the Canterbury Herringbone or Canterbury Chevron. This can allow you to make your space more cohesive if you want to separate floor types or patterns.
